The automatic polarization method is based on the difference in refractive index of reflective and non-reflective particles, and the brightness and darkness under the polarizer, combined with the gray level judgment of the software to intuitively and accurately judge the reflective and non-reflective particles. This determination method is not affected by the shape of the particles. As long as the particles are matt, they are completely black under polarization, and the rest of the particles are reflective particles. Other companies use natural light, which is highly misjudgmental for spherical particles. The reason is that the spherical matt particles will show the duality of partial darkness and partial brightness under natural light. For software that only relies on grayscale to identify, it is difficult to determine whether they are reflective or matt particles.
